GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) is needed for admissions abroad. There are more than 1500+ institutions across 83 countries accepting GMAT score. The exam was initially paper and pencil based but now its computer adaptive test.

· Eligibility for GMAT 2014 - To be eligible to appear for GMAT, the candidate must have bachelor's degree. There is no age limit and the marks are valid for 5 years. Different institutions have different entrance parameters. Selection procedure of most of the institutions includes GD, PI, Letter of Purpose, etc.

· Dates for GMAT 2014 - The exam date is not yet announced. But as soon they are announced we update them. Register your email id with us, using the subscribe tab to receive important updates.  

·Syllabus for GMAT 2014 – Analytical Writing Assessment, Quantitative Section, Verbal Section and Integrated Reasoning Section. The difficulty level of the questions would depend on the accuracy of the previously answered question by you. So for if you wrongly answer a particular question, the next question would be of a lower difficulty level or easy.

· Register for GMAT 2014 – A candidate can register via online on the GMAC website. The application fees are USD 250. Another important highlight about GMAT exam is that it can be taken many times in a year. However there should be a gap of 31 days between the two tests and it can be taken up only 5 times in a year.

·Results of GMAT 2014 As soon as the test ends, the scores are available. The candidate has the option of accepting it or declining it. If the candidate accepts the score that would be made available to the institutions and they can call the candidates for interview. Rejection of scores would end the story there itself.

· Important tips - GMAT is known to be tougher than CAT at times. So practices thoroughly, read news papers and keep you updated. Practice on your communication skills as they are scrutinized thoroughly abroad. Letter of purpose should be well articulated. It should be honestly written by the candidate and he should know every word of it.
