In order to get into XLRI (Xavier Labour Relations Institute), one must appear for XAT. XAT 2014 will be conducted on 5th January, 2014 (Sunday). The score is accepted by more than 100 institutions across the country other than XLRI. The test would also be conducted across 2 global cities, they are Dubai and Kathmandu.
- Eligibility for XAT 2014 - To be eligible to appear for XAT, the candidate must have bachelor's degree with minimum.
- Dates for XAT 2014 - The exam date is 5th January, 2014, Sunday.
- Syllabus for XAT 2014 - The paper would be divided into two parts. The first part would have the three sections, data interpretation & quantitative ability, verbal & logical ability and analytical reasoning & decision making. This section would have 85 to 95 questions. The second part of the paper would consist of two categories of questions, Essay Writing and General Awareness. The duration of both the questions would be 20 minutes. The number of General Awareness questions is 25 to 30. Questions in general awareness will be from business, economics and politics related to business environment. The format of XAT is pencil-paper based.
- Important tips - XAT is known to be tougher than CAT at times. So practice thoroughly, read news papers and keep yourself updated as the general awareness has 25-30 questions which are based on current scenarios.
