The exam dates for JEE-Main and JEE-Advanced 2014 are declared by the Joint Admission Board (JAB) of the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). JEE-Main and JEE-Advanced are the entrance exams for the prestigious IITs. JEE Main-14 is expected to be conducted on April 6, 2014 which falls on Sunday and JEE Advanced-14 will be conducted on 25th May, 2014 which is also a Sunday. The exam will be pen and paper adaptive as the JAB has ruled out the possibility of conducting the exams online. However it is said that JEE-Main and JEE-Advanced would be conducted online from the year 2015 or 2016. All the best!!
- Eligibility for JEE Main 2014
- Based on Date of Birth - The candidate must be born on or after 1st October, 1989 to be eligible for JEE 2014. SC/ST/PwD candidates have a relaxation of 5 years and must be born on or after 1st October, 1984. *the date mentioned on the Secondary Education Board/University certificate will be taken as the correct one.
- Year of Passing - The candidates should have passed the class 12 exam or other qualifying exams in the year 2012 or 2013. Candidates appearing for the class 12 exams in 2014 are also eligible. The candidates must have studied at least 5 subjects in their class 12 exams or any other qualifying exams.
- Number of Attempts - A maximum number of three attempts will be allowed per candidate provided the other eligibility criteria are fulfilled by the candidates.
