Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology (DA - IICT) is located in Gandhinagar and is a technological university. The institute is promoted by Dhirubhai Ambani Foundation and is run by Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group. The institute is operational since August 2001 and now offers many courses at graduate and post graduate level. DA IICT had 1,110 students taking various courses on its 60 acres scenic campus. The college receives thousands of applications every year, but a few make it to the institute by way of entrance exams.
